Daydream

Dear Huckababy,

You've been growing for 11 weeks today little one! Your mama and I can't wait to hear your little heartbeat and to feel you kick and move around in your mama's belly!

I hope you enjoyed the musical education that your mama and I gave you on New Year's Eve. The Avett Brothers put on a great show for you! By the way, you're welcome :) I was just sitting at my desk at work earlier this morning and I had a daydream about you. In the daydream I was sitting in our living room and I was watching your mama pacing back and forth with you in her arms. She was trying to get you to fall asleep. She was speaking to you gently in a way that only a mother can and I felt a sudden warmth come over me. It was a feeling that I only think can be described as complete happiness.

I can't wait to meet you! I know your mama feels the same way. I can't tell you how many times I've already heard her say, "I want to play with my baby!"

You are the best part of us. Thank you for letting me be your daddy :)
